- Annual CRR Easter Egg Hunt April 3, 2010

Each year the Volunteer Fire Association and the Fire Auxiliary sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt for the Ranch children. The Auxiliary "stuffs" about 5,000 plastic eggs with candy and some with a ticket for a "special prize".

This event is held on the Ranch in the area of the ballpark, off Chinook, just North of the Trading Post.

We divide the area into 4 age groups. The "Lion's Club" fenced-in portion will be seperated for the "4 and under" age groups - one section will be for "2 and under", and one section for " 3 & 4 year olds". There will be a "light brush" area for the "5-8 age group", and a "heavy brush" area on the hillside for the "9-12 year old group".

We use plastic eggs which are stuffed with candy and some with a ticket for a "special prize". We ask that you please return the plastic eggs to us after your children have taken out the candy.

Bring something for your child to put the eggs in - basket, bucket, etc.

We plan to start the "hunt" promply at 10:00 AM. All age groups go at the same time,  so please have your children there no later than 9:45 AM so they can get into the appropriate staging area for their age group. Once we "blow the air horn" to start, it is "mayhem", and probably too late for your child to catch up!

The Volunteer Fire Association purchases the candy and "special prizes" from donations received through the year. Your donations are certainly welcome, and very much appreciated!! We are a "non-profit charitable organization", so your donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

So, mark you calendar, bring your kids, and see how fast 5,000+ eggs can be picked up!
