DONATIONS:

The Crooked River Ranch Volunteer Fire Association, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation, registered in the State of Oregon. We are considered a public charity under section 170(b) (1) (A) (vi) of the IRS Code. As such, donations to the Association are deductible on your federal income tax return to the extent that they qualify. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the IRS Code.

We are also registered with the State of Oregon as a non-profit corporation.

Of course, we welcome your DONATIONS, large or small!

In addition to our fundraisers, your donations are used to help support us in our many charitable, educational, and fire and life safety related activities: We purchase training aids and equipment to keep us up on the latest techniques of firefighting and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). We purchase firefighting and EMS equipment to help us better serve you. Each year, at Christmas time, we provide food and toys to needy families on the Ranch. We sponsor the annual Easter Egg Hunt on the Ranch, and the annual Halloween Party for Ranch children. We also participate in "Touch a Truck" each year, which along with the Halloween Party gives us an opportunity to expose the children in our community to the Fire Service and EMS, and to offer fire prevention and safety material to them. We also offer CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training to individuals and businesses within our service area, and have placed AED's in some businesses on the Ranch. These are just of few of the charitable activities that we are involved in.

Our annual information return, our exemption application and all supporting documents, and our exemption letter are available for public inspection by visiting the Fire Station at 6971 SW Shad Rd., Crooked River Ranch, OR during normal business hours.
